Skryabin, Yurko Yurcash Yurchenko and Ukrainian Surprises
Ukrainian Folk Celebration at Slagelse Musikhus
28 August 2026
On 28 August 2026, Slagelse Musikhus, in collaboration with Ukrainerejser and Lastivka Slagelse, invites you to a major Ukrainian folk celebration featuring the legendary band Skryabin, Yurko Yurcash Yurchenko and a range of special cultural performances.
Skryabin is one of the most iconic rock bands in Ukraine. Founded by Andriy Kuzmenko, who wrote more than 300 songs during his career, the band became a musical voice for millions of Ukrainians. Today, his songs continue to unite audiences across the country and beyond. Skryabin is the official representative of Andriy Kuzmenko’s musical legacy and performs under a licensed agreement with the rights holders.
Over the years, the band has played more than 2,000 concerts. Since 2015, the lineup has remained unchanged, featuring Oleksiy Zvolynsky on guitar and as band manager, Konstantin Glitin on bass and Vadym Kolisnichenko on drums. Keyboardist Konstantin Sukhonosov collaborates on musical arrangements and contributes new interpretations of the songs performed live.
Joining the evening is Yurko Yurcash Yurchenko, a renowned Ukrainian singer, poet and musician. Since 2018, he has been part of the Skryabin & Yurcash collaboration, performing Andriy Kuzmenko’s songs together with the band to great acclaim.
The celebration will also include traditional elements such as a bandura player and a choir, adding an authentic cultural dimension to the concert experience. Additional exciting features and special surprises will be announced continuously in the lead up to the event.
When Skryabin last visited Slagelse Musikhus in 2024, the concert became a powerful celebration of unity, shared songs and community spirit. On 28 August 2026, we look forward to recreating that atmosphere and once again bringing people together through music.
Join us for an evening where Ukrainian culture, music and togetherness take center stage.
